Position SummaryAssists in the closing process to ensure efficient processing and scheduling of house closings.
Ensure all inventory homes are properly listed and managed in the MLS system.
In addition, assisting the Area Sales Manager to review, monitor, and track the progress of our homes as they move towards the close date and managing customer touch points and providing outstanding service to all customers.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesReports directly to the Area Sales Manager.
Assist in preparing closing documents to send to lenders and the title company.
General office duties such as filing, scanning, and answering phone.
Develop and implement new or revised record keeping systems and procedures.
Inputs all inventory homes into MLSUpdates MLS listings daily for pricing & picturesUpdates MLS daily on pending/sold/closed transactionsAnswers telephones and greets and directs visitorsPrepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emailsVisits communities to take pictures of homes for MLS listingsInteracts with customers as needed to ensure an excellent customer experienceAssists all departments in division as neededInteracts as required with other office personnel and staffOversee incoming and outgoing mail and parcelsSchedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisorsMaintain supply and equipment stock, determine needs, place request(s) for purchasesResponsible for correctly coding and processing credit card expense accountsPerforms filing and copyingAdditional duties as requiredRequirements:
Previous experience in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) or closing process Ability to direct paperwork flow from sales office to the main officeAbility to use a computer and possess an understanding of computer software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments.
Excellent time management skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
